Rick Ciha

I’m a graduate of Central City and have been in the painting and coating industry for 20 years, with 7 years in the field and 13 years on the estimating side. Right out of high school, I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do. I worked in the food industry for a few years before taking a test through Kirkwood that pointed me toward painting.

When I worked in the field, I always enjoyed taking something that looked worn out and making it look fresh and new again. Seeing that transformation always gave me a real sense of accomplishment, and it’s something I still appreciate about the industry today.

Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, going on walks with my dog, creating music, and recently started canvas painting in my free time. I’m also a member of the Sons of Amvets Squadron 37, where I enjoy helping support the Central City community any way possible.
